The term, "sculpture" has come to mean many things, allowing for greater creative interpretation. I seek to bring attention back to sculpture as a finely crafted object. Rather than focusing on the act of fabrication, I allow the object to exist in its own right. When a piece is poorly made, I see the process. If it is well made, I see the sculpture itself.
